Fortified Natural Organic Flax Hulls (with 3-day old broccoli sprouts)

The flax hulls are certified organic by U.S.A. Organics (Cert. # US-ND-P0012) & Global Organic Alliance, Inc. (Cert. #

Fortified Flax Hulls as the name implies, is organic natural flax hulls fortified with
3-day old broccoli sprouts. Each jar contains 150 gm of concentrated natural flax hulls that are high in botanical lignans and
30 gm of 3-day old broccoli sprouts. The 3-day old broccoli sprouts have been specially selected and are known to contain the highest level
of glucoraphanin which when chewed is converted into sulforaphane.

The Fortified Flax Hulls:
- contain botanical lignans which when converted to mammalian ligans are powerful free radical scavengers
- provide nutritious fibre
- provide the daily value of Vitamin B12 in the form of Cobalamin
Good bacteria such as LB17 live probiotic are
essential to convert the botanical lignans known as secoisolariresinol dyglucoside (SDG) into mammalian lignans known as enterodiol (ED)
and enterolactone (EL). It is really beneficial to use LB17 live probiotics together with the Fortified Flax Hulls. In addition to helping
the body eliminate excessive free radical activity, LB17 live probiotic and Fortified Flax Hulls in combination works to boost the immune
system of the body. They are a totally natural defense against colds, flus and a host of other health issues.
The 3-day old broccoli sprouts appear as yellowish specks in the fortified flax hulls, need to be chewed to release sulforaphane from
glucoraphanin contained within the sprouts. Studies by Prof. Paul Talalay of Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD, USA) and others
found that 3-day old broccoli sprouts contained the highest level of glucoraphanin. The broccoli sprouts used in the Fortified Flax are grown
orgnaically from specially chosen seeds. They are harvested after sprouting for about 3 days.
The best way to use fortified flax hulls is to sprinkle over food and or salad so that it is chewed when eaten. One full scoop (scoop
provided in jar) daily is sufficient.
Expectant mothers or women who are wanting to conceive are advised not to use fortified flax hulls since no studies have been
done on the effects of SDG and Sulforaphane on the feotus.
